In 2014, I stepped into the real world and explored different business cultures in our field. Every experience helped me learn, grow, and build confidence in my skills.
I had my first on-the-job training at Floreia, a sister company of Nature's Legacy. It is a company that specializes in the use of eco-friendly materials for guilt-free in fashion accessories. During my internship for 1 and a half months last April to May 2014, these are a few of my necklace proposals.
Company name: Palm Grass Heritage Hotel
After my internship at Floreia, I took a part-time job as a digital artist at the Palm Grass Heritage Hotel for wall art to be displayed at their suites. The aim was to produce wall arts that have a strong concept of the history and culture of Cebu. My works can be now seen inside the different rooms of the said hotel.
Company Name: Ethnic Ventures
In June 2015, I couldn’t graduate on time because I still had one subject left. I looked for a part-time job that would let me work while finishing my studies. Mrs. Carmelita Lava, owner of Ethnic Ventures (Cebu Shineland), a fashion accessories business, gave me that chance.
She asked me to create jewelry from their large bead inventory with the help of two assistants. I worked there from July 1 to December 4, 2015. This job taught me how to make jewelry using different materials and styles, and it improved my skills in matching colors.

Right after finishing my degree in December 2015, I took my passion for fashion jewelry to the next level. I joined Kor Landa Inc., a leading French brand in fashion accessories, as a junior designer. From January 15 to June 10, 2016, I got to create stunning pieces and truly enjoy the craft.
